Install Vafer on your store

Vafer is a cookie consent banner that actually enforces the choice: trackers are held until a shopper agrees, cookies are deleted when they reject, and every decision is recorded. Enter your store to install it.

The .myshopify.com one — not your public domain.

This page never sees your password. You approve the install on Shopify itself, and only staff of the store can.

How installing works

1Enter your store address aboveUse the internal .myshopify.com address, not your public domain. You can find it in your Shopify admin under Settings → Domains, or in the admin URL itself.
2Approve the install on ShopifyWe send you to Shopify, and Shopify checks who you are — you must already have staff access to the store. You approve Vafer on Shopify's own screen. Your password never passes through us.
3Switch the banner on in your themeIn your Shopify admin: Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds → turn on Consent banner → Save. Without this step the app is installed but invisible.
4Set your rules, then check it worksInside the app, set your consent rules and publish them. The Diagnostics screen then shows you exactly what a visitor from each country is served — live, not assumed.

Vafer is in early access — installs are open to invited and development stores. A consent banner is not a banner, it is a switch.
